Norfolk Elks Lodge Annual Hoops Shoot Despite freezing temperatures and blowing snow, the Norfolk Elks Lodge annual Hoop Shoot was held Saturday, January 18 at the Northeast Community College. Wausa students participating in the free throw contest were: Kendra Kleinschmit 3rd gr, Kelly Vanness 4th gr, Ryan Kleinschmit 5th gr, and Jacob Schindler 3rd gr.

Basketball Games Changed Due to Weather (1/17/19)

With the snow we already have and with more snow and high winds forecast for tomorrow, the Freshman-Sophomore tournament scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled indefinitely. The boys and girls varsity games scheduled for tonight vs. Randolph have been postponed until Monday, January 27th with both boys and girls JV games starting at 4:45pm.

Congratulations Quiz Bowl Team!

Yesterday the Wausa quiz bowl teams competed in the 17 school Lewis and Clark Conference academic contest. There are two divisions, the Fr/So. Division  consisted of  Brandon Christensen, Jarrett Andersen, Darla Nelson and Joe Johnson. 7th grade Civic engagement project

It’s a giving Christmas for these 7th graders who participated this month in a Civic engagement project at Mercy Meals in Norfolk. They went over their goal and prepared 4458  meals that were shipped to the Philippines and Libya.
