2021 Lewis and Clark Conference Art Show

The Lewis & Clark Conference Art Show was held on Febr.29 – March 1st, 2021. Seventeen schools participated in the show. Each school may enter a total of 42 projects. Wausa received 36 awards. Entries included charcoal drawings, oil and acrylic paintings, watercolor painting, and mixed media. Wausa artists did a great job.

Elementary participants in the Lewis & Clark Art Show were: Front row Dayton Cunningham – 3rd place, Lola Clausen – 3rd place, Hayden Mertens – 1st place, and Colton Hoesing – 1st place. Back row: Lane Murray – 3rd place, Molly Aiken – 3rd place , and Rogan Hoesing – “Best of Show”- Elementary.

Jr. High participants in the Lewis & Clark Art Show were: Back row Jayden Gillilan, Lexi Wright – 1st place, Drew Rumsey – 2nd place , and Avery Stevens – 1st place. Front row Tate Stolpe – 1st place, Brayden Hoesing – 1st & 2nd place, Alijah Nelson – 1st & 2nd place, not pictured Emma Petersen – 2nd place.
