Yesterday the Wausa quiz bowl teams competed in the 17 school Lewis and Clark Conference academic contest. There are two divisions, the Fr/So. Division consisted of Brandon Christensen, Jarrett Andersen, Darla Nelson and Joe Johnson. The Fr/So. team won the outright championship! It’s a giving Christmas for these 7th graders who participated this month in a Civic engagement project at Mercy Meals in Norfolk. They went over their goal and prepared 4458 meals that were shipped to the Philippines and Libya.
