The Nebraska Department of Transportation Buckle Up Phone Down Cup recognizes high schools having the most successful interscholastic activities programs in the state for that year. Schools in each division are divided into four classes, (A, B, C, and D) determined each activities year, based on enrollment. This Year, 139 High Schools across Nebraska were classified in class "D". Wausa finished 6th in the Girls Division with 100 total points, and the Boys finished 5th overall out of 139 Class D High Schools!
The NSAA Activities that are considered for points that Wausa Public Schools competes in are Football, Volleyball, Cross Country, Basketball, Wrestling, Play Production, Speech, Golf, Track & Field, and Vocal/Instrumental Music. What a great year for our High School Sports and Activities, and WELL DONE VIKES!!!
