Cody B competed in the boys Pole Vault. He ends his day going out at 11'6.

Mackenzie S is bringing home a 3rd place medal in the girls High Jump from the State Meet!

Kennedy and Reagan G are both in the finals for tomorrow's 200M Dash. Good luck girls!!!

Mac C finishes 16th at the State Meet in the Triple Jump!!!

She got nudged out at the end but will bring home a Silver Medal, a new PR, and another school record in the 400M. Congrats Reagan G!!!!

Today our elementary teachers and paras participated in DIBELS training to strengthen our understanding of assessing student outcomes in early literacy skills. 📚✏️

This professional development helps our staff better identify student needs, monitor progress, and provide targeted support to ensure every child continues to grow as a reader. We are excited to continue building strong literacy foundations for all students at Wausa Elementary! 💜💛

🎬🍿 What a FUN way to wrap up the school year! Today our elementary students spent their final day together enjoying field trips to see Super Mario Galaxy and The Pout-Pout Fish before heading to the YMCA for some extra adventures and fun with friends.

It has been an incredible year filled with learning, growth, laughter, and memories. We are so proud of our students and thankful for our amazing staff and families who made this year special.

The Vikings competed at Indian Trails today in District Golf. It was a wet day on a tough course but Mason N punched his ticket to state. Great job boys and good luck at State Mason!

Congratulations to Mrs. Allie Bloomquist, 4th grade teacher at Wausa Elementary, for being named the Great Plains Communications Outstanding Teacher of the Year! This annual award recognizes ONE exceptional educator in Nebraska for dedication to teaching, student impact, and community service.

Mrs. Bloomquist received a $5,000 cash prize and a commemorative plaque honoring her incredible work. We are beyond proud of Mrs. Bloomquist and so grateful to have her as part of our Wausa Elementary family.
