Jake M competed at State Golf today. He shoots an opening round 97 today.

We wrapped up the year with an exciting awards ceremony celebrating our amazing students! 📚🎪
🏅 Students who met their reading goals earned FREE wristbands to ride the rides at the Knox County Fair—what a fun reward!
📈 We also honored students who exceeded national norms on MAP Growth assessments and met or exceeded state benchmarks on NSCAS in reading, math, science, and overall growth. We even had some at the College and Career Readiness benchmark!!
👏 What a fantastic way to end the school year—celebrating hard work, growth, and achievement! Have a safe and fun summer! 🌻🎓

🇺🇸 Wausa Band Members and students participated in the Memorial Day Program today. Ainsley provided special music and Rogan performed Taps. It was a wonderful way to honor and remember the fallen. 🇺🇸

Final Race for the Vikings nets an 8th place finish for the girls 4x400. Congrats Reagan, Kenley, Avery and Kennedy. The girls finished in 11th place overall.
State Track Update: 300 Hurdles-Mac C 18th, Gaven N 19th. Kennedy G takes home the 4th Place Medal in the 200!
State Track Update: Girls 4x100 Relay was 4th (Avery, Mackenzie, Kennedy Reagan). Colton B finished 15th in Long Jump and 16th in Pole Vault. Mac C finished 8th in the 110 Hurdles. Girls High Jump- Mackenzie S 6th, Reagan G 12th. GBV
State Track Update: Kennedy G makes the finals in the 200, Lexi W just misses out.
State Track Update: Kennedy G misses the finals in the 100. Reagan G finishes 4th in the 400. We've got rain and the 200 Prelims left for Kennedy and Lexi.
State Track Update: Preston S takes 13th in shot, Ryan K medals and brings home 5th in High Jump and Mac C is in the finals for the 110 Hurdles! #GBV
Wausa Youth League Basketball Camp Information! This is camp is for incoming 4th-8th grade students.

WHS golfers battled tough conditions at District Golf. The team missed qualifying by 4 strokes, finishing 4th. Jake M is a state qualifier though taking home the 5th place medal. Congrats to all!!!







🏃🏽♀️➡️ We will have Elementary Track and Field day no matter what tomorrow at 12:30pm. If we can’t have it at the track it will be in the gym.🧥 Please have your child bring warm clothes to wear if we have it outside. High tomorrow is 49 degrees. Kindergarten parents: reminder the kindergarten will participate in the first two events and if parents are there to pickup their student they can check them out with Mrs. Fink! Parents: If you are here and your student is finished participating you can take them home after you check them out with their teacher.
