If purchasing these items is a financial hardship, please reach out to Mrs. Heimes. All requests will be kept confidential, and we will do our best to connect students and families with donated items.
🧥 A reminder to parents: Because our supply of extra coats, boots, and winter gear is limited, we cannot guarantee that we will have appropriate outerwear available for students who arrive without it. If your child comes to school without the necessary clothing for the weather, we will contact you to make arrangements to get what they need to school.

Lady Vikes are in Hartington today. They dropped the first match to a tough TCNE team 0-2. They will take on Winside at 11. Good luck ladies!
It's going to be a beautiful night for football! Be there early as parents night will take place at 6:30pm. We will also be honoring some special people at halftime for their contributions to our Athletic Complex.

Congrats to Wausa Senior Football player Mac C. Mac received the WJAG/KEXL Kuchar Chiropractic Star Athlete of the Week for his stellar efforts against Wynot this past Friday!
Congrats to the 2026 Northeast Community College Hawkfest Honor Choir Participants. Students from all across the area auditioned, and the best of the best were selected to attend in both a concert band and chorus. Wausa was well represented with a load of 11 students selected for the Honor Choir. Sopranos Carlie K and Jennar B, Altos Elle B and Emmie B, Tenors Brady K, Vayden W, Jacob S, Nole A, Noel K, and Basses Rogan H and Colton H shared their musical gifts in a concert held in Norfolk Monday night. Congrats the Seniors Brady K, Rogan H and Vayden W for their third year of being selected for this honor! Congrats Vikings Musicians!
We’d like to congratulate Wausa senior Rogan Hoesing for being selected as one of just 48 high school seniors statewide to receive recognition through the Nebraska Believers & Achievers Program!
Rogan was chosen for his outstanding achievements both in and out of the classroom. After graduation, he plans to pursue a degree in education. As a Believers & Achievers honoree, he will be recognized at the NSAA Girls and Boys State Basketball Championships in March 2027.
In addition, eight of the 48 recipients will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship from Currency to use at the college or university of their choice, with scholarships presented at a banquet in April 2027.
We are incredibly proud of Rogan and this well-deserved honor.

The Class of 1976 presented the school with a memorial plaque honoring the 50 year anniversary of the 1st graduating class to play at W. H. Johnson Gymnasium. Thank you, Connie, Carlene and Gail for presenting this tonight at the volleyball game!
