🎄✨ The Magic of Giving
The holiday season is a time for joy — and sometimes, a little extra support can make all the difference. 💛
One of our local youth groups is spreading holiday cheer by helping Wausa Public Schools families through a Giving Tree Project. Families can confidentially request small gifts for their children, and our youth group will make sure each wish is wrapped and delivered before Christmas.
If your family could use a little help this season, please reach out confidentially to Mrs. Heimes at 📧 heatherheimes@wausaschools.org
or message her through Class Dojo.
🗓️ Requests accepted until November 21
🎁 Gift suggestions around $25 per item

FBLA wants to thank you for donating food a total of 857.3 POUNDS of food! 200 of those pounds were donated by the Bloomfield Wind Farm. Half of the total will be at Knox County Food Pantry located at the Methodist Church in Bloomfield, the other half will be located inside of Wausa's public library!

Wausa Public Schools fielded a Junior Varsity Team (freshmen/sophomores) and a Varsity (juniors/seniors) Team at the Lewis and Clark Academic Contest held at Wayne State College. Both teams started strong but did not bring home any hardware. They represented WHS like the proud Vikings they are. Members are: Luke, Ainsley, Rogan, Hayden, Jaxson, Hallie, Jacob and Dawson.

The FBLA is trick or treating for canned goods or other long shelf life food items tonight at 7:00! If you are able to make a donation, just open the door or leave the food on your porch!

🗳️ Happy Election Day! 🇺🇸
4th Grade learned all about Election Day today - what it means to vote and how elections help make decisions. To practice, they held their own classroom mock election with some very important topics on the ballot! 😉
Here are the results:
🎂 Cake vs. Donut → Cake (8–7) — a close race!
🍟 Fries vs. Onion Rings → Fries (12–3)
🥤 Milkshake vs. Ice Cream Cone → Milkshake (10–5)
🍔 Hotdog vs. Cheeseburger → Cheeseburger (14–1)
As you can see, most categories were landslide wins, but cake vs. donut had voters divided!
